1966 Strato Chief
“ '66 Pontiac Strato-Chief that I have been building now for about 6 yrs. When I got the car it was motor and trannyless.
Since then I have put a very healthy BBC 468 w/a bench 4spd. I added an Ididit tilt colunm along with Hotchkis suspension and '65-82 Corvette disc's on all 4 corners on a freshly done 12 bolt w/3:08 gears and Eaton posi.!!
Everything underneath is close to having been replaced. I am in the process of looking for some half decent used quarter panels as mine are pretty much rusted away which is really a shame.
The original color is Laurel Mist Met-Code H with Fawn interior which I have gone back to. It's from a '66 Biscayne tri-color pattern. I try and drive it as much as I can up here in Canada. That's why I built it.”

“Canadian Strato Chief Safari, 283ci Chev, 2 spd auto. Bought about 6 years ago from a farmer's field. Towed it home, put fresh gas and a battery and it started right up. Had been sitting for 14 years.
All new front end and new brakes all around. 1 1/2 coils cut off when I rebuilt the suspension. Painted with Spray Bombs including all trim inside. Rattlecan flat black paint w/scallops. Luxor 14x7 wires, 175/75r14's.
Only driven to local car shows (so far). Plans include late model 350 with 4 spd auto; then, more cruzin' ”.
