1966 Star Chief Executive 421
“Our 1966 Star Chief Executive 4-door hardtop was purchased from Rockhill (now NuCar) Pontiac, Newark, DE on April 19, 1966.
Although we have not used it as our primary vehicle for the past 20 years, we have kept it in complete running order, passing the
State of Delaware's vehicle inspection every year. Its total, original mileage is currently (4/10/07) 77,754.
Except for the tires, and light bulbs, everything in/on the car is in original condition. That includes the black vinyl top and black uphostery.
The 421 cubic inch V-8 engine (automatic transmission), which has chrome headers and a chrome air cleaner cover, produces 376 horsepower.
As is shown in the pictures, the car is in excellent condition, and runs like a top.
The showroom pictures (below) were taken on 6/8/89, when our car was selected to be the centerpiece display for the opening of NuCar Pontiac's new showroom.
