“I found this 1 owner 2 dr h/t 69 Bonneville at a small swap meet about 5 years ago;
it had 38K actual miles on it. It was originally purchased in Boise, Idaho, in Dec. 69, and
stored inside from 71 until 2002. I paid 1300$ for it. It was a chocolate brown with a gold interior, [perfect];
I repainted it a black currant pearl and dyed the vinyl top black, reupholstered the seats and carpet
in black and graphite, and dyed the rest of the interior to match. I am curently redoing the paint.
I removed the vinyl top. New color will be a 2 tone, with dark pearl graphite on the bottom and a medium silver pearl on the top.”

“This is a 1969 Pontiac Catalina 2-door hardtop. I bought it 8 years ago and had it stored five years while I was out of the country.
Got it back 3 years ago and I'm working on something. it has rust in the rear fender, at the bottom, and I'm having trouble sealing it tight against the rain,
which is ruining the ceiling, which was immaculate when I got it. On the other hand, I had it painted in the original color, changed brakes, tires, purchased
missing hubcaps, fit a stainless steel exhaust pipe, had the whole electrical system rewired and had the slices in the upholstery fixed.
I have to change the carpet and fix the rust, as well as re-chrome the bumpers. This year I will overhaul the engine, probably will fit new distribution chain and pistons,
and will also fit the compressor for the aftermarket a/c it came fitted with. I could not resist of altering the dash to fit the radio. I will add an amplifier this year, too.”
Still, I will try to maintain it's original look as much as possible. I use the car almost daily,and sometimes it takes me to visit my dad in his hometown, some 80 miles away.”

“My future wife and I played hooky from work and college one day in April 1984 to pick up this Bonneville convertible from Wichita, Kansas.
It had 3 cracked pistons when I got it so I swapped the engine from a 1969 Catalina I had that my dad bought new. We drove away from our wedding in it and have had the car now for 23 years.
The original engine was rebuilt and put back in the car 18 years ago and the car was repainted and the interior done 15 years ago.
We enjoy it now on weekends at Lake of the Ozarks and it always gets a complement.”

“
It's a 428 2-Door Executive with 88K miles. I bought it out of North Dakota last summer for $3,000.
It's got some neat options: 3.08 posi, guage package that includes oil pressure and water temp, load-leveler, and reverb speaker. It's in pretty good shape. The interior is darn near perfect, however the original paint is showing wear. The motor runs strong, with no smoke. Don't see may Execs out there.”
“This is my 69' Parisienne Convert that I'm currently doing a body off resto on. The picture was taken at the time of purchase from the second owner (since 76'). The car is one of 1033 converts Oshawa produced in '69. It's a red on red car with a 350. You don't see them every day up here. She'll be awesome one day!”

“Bought this car in Rhode Island in 1999 with 47,250 miles on it and drove it all the way home to Illinois. Lots of mods to both the engine, exhaust and interior. Going to strip the paint, do all the body work and have it sprayed in the spring.”

“Unbelievably I found this car right in my own town. For years I wanted a late 60's Pontiac full size convertible. The car had to have a 428, factory air, and not be a basket case. Out of the blue my wife found this last summer while we were taking a little Saturday afternoon drive.
The car has only 70K original miles, no rust, and is almost all original. It has been re-painted and the bumpers have been re-chromed. Next up is the convertible top and later the upholstery will be re-done in the parchment. I am also going to replace the valves, cam, timing gear, water pump and piston heads lowering the compression into the 9's.
I am also doing a lot of detail work to eventually bring her back to a nearly new condition.”

“This is a 428 Bonneville but now has a 455 with a Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold, Holly 700 Carb, HEI ignition and B&M Transpack. The heads are Number 13 casting number which have been ported with valve job. The car has a fresh engine with less than 5 thousand miles. Future plans are headers and a Wilder camshaft. The car was purchased by my dad in the 1970's from a salvage yard. The car has been restored completely by myself and father. I drove the car daily to high school but decided to leave it at home now that I'm in college.”

“This is a 100% original, untouched, unmolested 44,000 mile car. The interior is flawless parchment (pearl white) that shows virtually no wear. The door panels look like they were made yesterday. All the weather stripping looks new, is soft and pliable. I don't know how someone could have kept any car in such condition all those years, but I'm thankful they did! It has the 428 engine and AC that works. I've looked at 69 Bonnevilles for over 20 years and never dreamed I'd find one (let alone own one) in this stunning condition.
What really sets it off is the crystal turquoise paint, the white interior and black top. I feel lucky to own it.”

“This 1969 Pontiac Bonneville 4DR hardtop has been family owned (and was made to order) since day one and has 41,000 original miles. I got it from my dad (after years and years of pestering) in 1990 and began work immediately.
I pretty much restored this car from the ground up, but would like to re-chrome the bumpers and some small trim pieces soon. It has a factory 428 CI, 395 HP with a rebuilt Rochester 4bbl under the hood, but I'm having a Holley 750cc double pumper made for it. Originally this car was a light metallic green but I changed my mind at the last minute and had it painted this color. This is a nine coat finish and it reflects like a mirror.
I've resisted the temptation to vary from the originality of the car, but it now has oval port heads with coated valves and it runs fine on premium unleaded gas. The mint interior is all original, including the factory AM/FM radio and the Rally II mag wheels, which have only had new tires put on them once!! The factory spare Rally II has never been used, and still has its original tire.”
