It was built at the Southgate(California) plant in March of 1962. This ‘driving restoration’ serves daily duty around the Inland Empire. It has a rebuilt 389, 2bbl V-8, and now has a 700r tranny. The orginal Slim Jim transmission now serves duty as a garden/lawn ornament.”

1962 Bonneville Convertible with a high compression 389-4. Everything but the old keystones is original, including the original top. It has been garaged for all 43 of its years, and currently has 73K miles. It also sports some great options, given that it's from 1962: factory console tach, PW, 6 way power seats, PS, PB, remote mirror. Fast, fun, and a real head turner.

Enclosed is a picture of my 62 Catalina repainted the original colors of Seafoam over Aquamarine, 91,000 miles, original Ventura interior (bad passenger door panel) 2bbl 389 & automatic YECH! soon to be Tri-Power and 4SPD. I located all the factory 4SPD pieces including an original spaghetti floor shifter and a correct date coded iron case wide ratio Borg Warner 4SPD transmission. The correct short fin 8 Lug rims should be on the car by the end of this week.
