I just picked up this incredibly original 1960 Pontiac Bonneville 2 door hardtop, and as it turns out, I am only the 4th owner in 51 years! The car has perfect interior, excellent chrome and stainless, and a beautiful rust-free body. The 389 runs strong and the car truly drives like a new one. Just turned 36,000 original miles...

I had a '60 Bonneville when I was a kid. I loved that big powerful car but had to let it go because I couldn't afford the payments. Two years ago I found this one and restored it to be a daily driver. I feel like a kid again.

Tri-power 389, hydramatic, 75,000 miles - a nice stocker bought at Barret Jackson in 1998 with 43,000 miles, driven regularly since.

Original bucket seat interior and drivetrain, repainted in black, has a non-matching 1960 "economy" block, unknown engine internals but with 185 PSI compression. Mods include 61 SD aluminum intake, rare tri-Y Hedman headers, Flowmasters, electronic points conversion and that's about it except for cosmetic doo-dahs like billet wheels, caddy taillights, bullet mirrors and fender guides. Best time so far of 15.79 @ 85 MPH with 3.08 open diff, but more to come soon as I'm currently installing SD heads, new cam and 3.23 posi. A full 4-speed conversion is coming after that. The car has won this event two years in a row:

“This is a Safari 9 passenger wagon with a 73 Pontiac 400 engine and 400 transmission. I bought it on Ebay from the original owners mechanic. The original owner died at age 92 and was still driving. The 389 was in bad shape so I replace it with the 400. I had to do a lot of cleaning and a little interior work and put in carpet instead of the old rubber floor covering, but other than that this is how it looked when I bought it. The car was originaly from the Seattle area. We have a lot of fun with it and have used it for trips to the beach and in weddings.”

This is a Canadian car on a Chevrolet frame. It came stock with a 283 auto, but I upgraded to a 350 with a m21 Trans. I have had this car now for 13 years and drive it every weekend I can.
