“The Car is a 1978 Trans Am Gold Special Edition, one of 8,886 made in 1978.
And out of the 8,886 ... only 1,200 came through with four speeds. And this one is a four speed car.
It took me two and a half years to get it back to the way it came off the assembly line. Some say it looks better than new. I built a new motor for it. It's a 1969 Ram Air III 400 motor out of a GTO ... 068 cam, 16 casting heads.
New rear 373 posi, 10 bolt. It runs as good as it looks.”

“I found this classic Grand Am while on a business trip to Denver. Before I knew it, I blew off the return flight and drove this baby home. 1500 miles in 3 days, and what a blast!
The Grand Am is truly a classic. Sold as a ‘luxo-muscle car’, it's a bit luxo, not so much muscle. One of 7,767 2 door models produced in '78, this one had only 42,000 miles when purchased in Nov 2005.
This is a stock, mildly equipped model. Currently has Pontiac 301 2bbl V-8 and is all original.”

with a 2bbl 301 block. I'm the second owner for 7 years now.
The guy bought this car brand new in 1978 in Goes Holland.”
