It has factory 455 Big Block, TH400 trans, power everything. Originally a California car according to PHS papers. It's been in NZ since the late '80's
and is one of a kind here (well, almost!).
Big, bold but hardly beautiful. Sure gets noticed though.

“My 76 Bonneville Brougham 2dr hardtop 400ci sleeping in a garage. I got no time - when I got time I got no mony and when I got mony and time it`s raining.
I only drive around 500 miles in the year. sad wasn't !”

“My Beautiful Black 1976 Bonneville
(The tinted headlight covers were my idea, of course.)
I wanted to give her that nice ‘sleeper’ look.
I have to do some interior & minor body work.
You know ... they just don't make them like this anymore.
When you have a good thing, don't stray from the formula !”

This is my 1976 Catalina. Purchased in 2000 for a mere $350 she is under going a rolling restoration as she is my daily driver. The interior is still original though the seats are showing wear & the carpet needs to be changed (dry rot).
We've done some body work & painted her in Feb. 05. Next is a rebuild of the original 400 cid. engine w/ lots of powder coating. The suspension front & rear was redone Jan. of 04 w/ all new bushings, ball joints, & powder coated A-arms & spindles.
