03.11.08 – For Sale: 1965 XF 389 short block and #77 heads from tri-power, 4 speed, 389 Grand Prix. Motor seized from sitting. Does anyone need this code 389 to restore their 65 3x2, 4 speed G.P.? I don't want to sell the engine but am willing to trade for a 65&66 421 or 4 bolt 428H.O. or possibly other Pontiac high performance engines, 65&66 tri-powers, long-tail 4 speeds 8 lugs.

(Have the 65 Tri-power-but will not sell it-will consider trading for a 1966 Tri-power set-up) (also have the 65 dual snorkle Tri-power air cleaner but only will trade that also for a 66 dual snorkle set-up). I still have what's left of the original car but it's Extremely rusty and is in pieces.

I'm also looking for a completely rust free 65 or 66 Grand Prix body/frame or complete car (I want to build a rust-free G.P. for myself with the performance parts I have aquired over the years).
