“I recently purchased my 1984 Parisienne station wagon. I don't think GM called them Safari any longer by this point. I bought it with 45,000 miles, and am the third owner. The previous two owners took meticulous care of this car. It's in wonderful shape throughout and drives like it's floating on a cloud.
It's my first Pontiac. I've been a Ford driver for years with the exception of my 1974 Corvette that I still own.”

“Great- I see you have since added a place for the ‘80s’ cars since I have posted my 1973 Pontiac on here. That is terrific! I have owned this 1989 Pontiac Safari 3-seat wagon for a few years now. It has all options except for power passenger side seat and power antenna. The car was originally from North Carolina and has been in Tennessee since 2001, so it is 100% rust free.
This photo was taken in summer of 2001 just before I bought it when it was in North Carolina.

Unfortunately, the car has deteriorated since this photo was taken in 2001, but still looks presentable for a 1989. I am not sure of the exact number of these were made in 1989, but I have heard it was not many. This was also the last year for the full-size Pontiac wagon and the only year Pontiac full-size wagon that had the rear shoulder seat belts.
The only thing is that I wish the 307 engine had more power and got better fuel mileage.”
